Beith Community Food Garden

Our mission is to alleviate local food poverty by providing people with the skills to grow their own produce.

The focus of the Food Garden is to show people some easy methods to grow vegetables, herbs and fruit; harvest them and prepare the ingredients into tasty, easy to make food for all the family. We are funded by Ayrshire & Arran CVS whose ethos is all about working together and promoting good health and mental wellbeing through nature.

In addition to the gardening wisdom, we also run creative craft workshops and cookery classes. All these activities are great for health and wellbeing and creating new friendships as well.

The Food Garden is located to the left side of the Community Centre.

Last year we also developed a sensory garden to the right side of the Community Centre.

Both gardens are open 24/7 and free to access.

We have workdays most Monday afternoons and Saturday mornings, why not come along and join us or simply stop by for a chat.
